Plants for a Greener Future: a talk by Chris Wiley

May 17 @ 14:00 15:00

As we shift towards a more planet-friendly approach to our gardens, there are a few things we must consider as gardeners before taking big steps to change; hear how Chris suggests a few ideas that may help to influence your planting style, with tips and tricks to enhance biodiversity and recycle various items that might otherwise have gone into your waste bin. He also helped to develop this year’s Which? Best Buy compost, made almost entirely from a recycled material!

Chris Wiley owns two horticultural businesses that supply sustainably grown British plants and related hard-goods.
He is also Coordinator of Bury in Bloom, part of The Bury Society. Bury in Bloom’s main aim is to enhance the townscape of Bury St Edmunds and promote horticulture in the community alongside
entering the local and National In Bloom competition.

FREE. No booking required. In the talks tent at Bury Wildlife Day in the Abbey Gardens
