Wildlife Festival 2026 Saturday May 16th: Revealing our Living Landscape Program in the Abbey Gardens, Bury St Edmunds 09.30 to 16.00

We’re back with our 2026 wildlife festival on Saturday 16th May. We’ll be in the Abbey Gardens, down by the river Lark with a tented village offering everyone a chance to visit the stalls and meet people who are passionate about the environment and our living landscape. Come and share their experience.

Its all free, put on by volunteers, hosted by the Bury Water Meadows Group CIO – donations to the charity would be very welcome and we always welcome new members who support our aims.

This year for the first time we are also putting on an exhibition in the cathedral cloisters which will be inspired by and include the artworks produced by local schools when they visit our festival site. Come along between Sunday 17th to Thursday 21st May to see, hear, touch and smell the exhibits.
