Bury Society
Bury’s best known group who for many years have provided a powerful voice on many aspects of the development of the town.
The Charman of the Bury Society is a member of the committee of the Bury Water Meadows Group. For the first year this was Alan Jary and subsequently Karen Hurden.
Suffolk Preservation Society
A long established group seeking to comment on all planning or other developments particularly where they adversely affect the outstanding natural beauty of this county.
Additionally there are a number of members providing direct links to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust plus further individual members with a strong personal interests in this land.
